01 » Brand architecture

The company had accessed the technology to fundamentally change their business and automate processes to meet their employee needs and customer requests. New IoT solutions allowed constant monitoring and remote maintenance of their services. In addition to communicating this shift, I was also responsible for defining the brand architecture, developing the identity and designing the product interface.

As the brand architecture was a major concern, I started by analyzing the merits and challenges of the company. I tried to understand the connection between business strategies in fish farming and medium-scale fishery and how it was related to their services and products.
02 » Brand identity

Next, I opted for a descriptive brand promise: "Fish farming made simple". This signaled more intelligent and simpler fish farming solutions that help fish farm personnel, technicians and customers detect and react quickly. The real-time application and management portal notifies if any of the salmon barges and food silos connected to the system need service or maintenance.

While working on digital solutions, I also had the pleasure to design the visual identity system such as the logo, typography, color palette, graphics, imagery and physical brand assets.
03 » IoT Modular System Design

I designed the IoT modular system panels for the Main Control Unit, Digital Input/Output (MLI 8-ch or single), Analog Input/Output (FLM), Environmental sensor (SEM), Temperature measurement (thermocouples), RS485 Multiplexer and GPS module. The challenge was to design panels that would refer to the brand and match the size of hardware design as they are repeatable and flexible in configuration.

In addition to a consistent look the goal was that the panels would be recognized among customers.
