\\\ Kick-off

I ran multiple UX workshops with Mesh Systems team to gain a deeper understanding of their design idea and product strategy.

I always focus on understanding the users and defining the problem before thinking about solutions. I interviewed the user base who had signed up but never made their first investment to find the roots of the problem. I also conducted user tests with the existing platform, testing people from Mesh Systems target audience who had never used the product before to get a better sense of the problems that may arise when using Olympus™ for the first time.

Based on the tests and interviews, I completed the user journey with real data and observations. This allowed me to easily identify and prioritise the main pain points in that journey and create a clear roadmap for the project.
 Modern look. Better outlook.
With respect for Mesh Systems past and the brand recognition intact, I helped the client go from old-fashioned and scattered, to modern, communicative, and trustworthy. All in all, an important shift for the brand and their products.

A crafted UI kit with clear guidelines and rules would help Mesh Systems keep design consistency when developing new features in the future.
\\\ Discovery &
Redesign

As a result of the careful roadmap planning, I started the web application redesign with the core features. I planned the timeline, scope of work, and goals for every feature redesign.

I worked in 2-week sprints, where one week was dedicated to discovery and ideation, while the second one was spent designing new solutions. This gave developers enough time to implement the new designs.

I worked remotely with the client and developers, but we communicated daily using various collaboration tools. We had two weekly meetings via Microsoft Teams, discussing research insights, design solutions, and iterations.
\\\ Brainstorming sessions &
UI Design

During the design process I organised brainstorming sessions to understand new feature requirements and goals. I proposed several approaches to match the values defined during the sessions.

The Fleet Alarm Monitoring was a completely new feature, but the created modular design made the implementation easy and fast. The testing rounds revealed the need for some adjustments and the importance of a quick Alarms overview for easy monitoring. I closed the project by implementing these final iterations.

\\\ The outcome

As a result of the fruitful collaboration with the Mesh Systems team, I redesigned the web application and improved the usability of its features.

The created designs are now in use and under further development. The resulting Olympus™ Application Enablement Platform (AEP) provides a better experience by it's user friendly design and focus on what users really look for.

The design system I handed over to the client is also helping them create new features across the platform that is in line with their new look. The modular design also allows the client to create new pages without UX studio while maintaining consistency throughout the site.
Due to non-disclosure agreements with Mesh Systems, I am limited in showing the rest of the platform and mockups, as they contain sensitive information and architecture.
